June update

It’s been a busy month so far and it’s only half way through June. This year is flying by so quickly. It feels like we are starting to regain a small bit of normalcy after covid but yet it still feels like some things will never be the same.

We finished our 2019-2020 school year and I’ve finally packed every thing away, just need to submit our attendance and I’ll be done. I’ve sat and reflected on the past school year many times. I always try to not have regrets but I feel like this past school year was just hard. I’ve been doing a lot of praying and thinking over what next year needs to look like. I will say that after the past year of trials (covid, government mandates, etc) it renewed a sense of what is really important to me so I’m keeping all that in mind as I look forward to the next school year.

We have a friend staying with us right now that had surgery recently and needed some help. I really do love being able to help others. I think it provides me a great opportunity to not be selfish and love like Jesus.

I’m thankful that I’ve had a desire to start this little blog. It’s been so long since I wanted to journal or write much. I have tried so many times over the years to do this so my kids would be able to read it one day. I’m not setting any high expectations so maybe that will be the key to succeeding 🙂
